Lead Infant Teacher

Job Overview

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and patient Infant Teacher to join our team at Once Upon a Time Schoolhouse in Belleville, WI. You will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months). Your goal is to support each baby’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development while partnering with parents to ensure the best care.

• Daily Care: Feed, change diapers, soothe crying infants, and follow individual sleep schedules.

  Engage babies with tummy time, sensory play, reading, and talking to build motor and communication skills.
• Safe Environment: Keep the classroom, toys, and equipment clean, sanitized, and safe at all times.
• Parent Communication: Provide daily written or digital reports on feeding, sleeping, and milestones to parents.

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education: High school diploma required; early childhood education coursework or degree is a plus.
• Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience: Proven experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or daycare setting.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, and lift up to 30–40 pounds.

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday (No weekends).
