Concrete Crew Leader / Working Foreman

Asphalt Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Crew Leader to join our growing construction team. This hands‑on leadership position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading a crew, and producing high-quality concrete work throughout Southern Wisconsin.

What You'll Do- Lead and direct daily concrete crew activities
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment on job sites
- Read project plans and ensure work is completed to specifications
- Supervise placement and finishing of concrete for sidewalks, curbs, gutters, pads, aprons, and flatwork
- Verify grades, elevations, and forms prior to pours
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers
- Assist crew members with hands‑on concrete work as needed
- Monitor quality, productivity, and project schedules
- Previous experience leading or supervising a concrete crew
- Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, forming, and grading
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL preferred but not required
- Bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial
- Ability to work extended hours during peak construction season
- Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety, training, and project coordination
