Job Summary: The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks to support construction projects, including site preparation, cleanup, and assisting tradespeople as needed. This role requires physical strength, stamina, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will be dependable, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions closely to ensure smooth site operations.

• Assist with site preparation, including setting up and breaking down tools, materials, and equipment.
• Load and unload materials and distribute them to appropriate locations on the site.
• Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Clean and maintain job sites by removing debris, organizing materials, and storing equipment safely.
• Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, power tools, and compactors, as directed.
• Support tradespeople (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc.) with tasks as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report any safety hazards, accidents, or equipment issues to the Site Supervisor/Foreman immediately.

• Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Skills:
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
