Description:
To expedite our unique DESIGN BUILD process, the Project Coordinator supports our architects, engineers, project managers, estimators and superintendents. The Project Coordinator compiles, organizes, and distributes drawings and plans, subcontracts, field work authorization notices and assists with the project permitting and utility application processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, track and process subcontracts and field work authorization notices (FWANs)
- Receive, track and distribute shop drawings
- Prepare, deliver and submit applications and drawings for state and local approvals, including technical review, plan commission, architectural review and common council
- Prepare, deliver and submit gas, phone, electric and other utility service applications
- Receive, coordinate and prepare Record Drawings and Project Completion Binder for distribution to project owner
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of office administration experience
- Associate’s Degree in Architecture/Drafting/Construction or equivalent
- 6+ years of office administration experience
- Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, Viewpoint, Smartsheet and Autodesk Build
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Ability to manage time efficiently, multitask and stay organized
- Ability to comprehend and retain complicated information
- Ability to adapt easily to changes and demands
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Attend weekly company Job Progress meeting
- Draft and/or process Subcontracts and Owner Change Orders
- Maintain Subcontractor Contact Base in Outlook
- Maintain Subcontractor List in Viewpoint and Autodesk Build
- Process FWANs (Field Work Authorization Notices)
- Update project information on Job Progress Report
- Support Estimators with miscellaneous duties/functions
- Print construction drawings for Subcontractors and our Construction Team
- Participate in weekly Estimating Team meetings
- Participate in quarterly performance conversations with the Director of Preconstruction
