DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $60,000 - $70,000, based on experience
Duties:
- Prepare detailed takeoffs, bid proposals, and pricing spreadsheets using estimating software and tools
- Develop preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed project estimates for jobs of varying size and complexity
- Create visual aids and documentation to clearly communicate project scope and pricing
- Obtain and analyze pricing from material vendors and suppliers
- Review construction documents, including addenda and amendments, and update estimates accordingly
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Note)
- Experience with estimating software and construction takeoff tools preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings
- Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Experience in construction estimating or a related field preferred
