Long Cold Night is an indie film based on a true story of a father and his teenage son who get their snowmobiles stuck on a small river in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the dead of winter. They abandon their machines on the ice to walk out — and what should have been a one-mile walk turns into a twenty-two-hour fight for their lives, in a blizzard and forty‑below‑zero temperatures.
