Summaryof Role:
The Brand Marketing Storytelling Intern will spend the summer finding, reporting and publishing stories about the family farmers who own Organic Valley. Working with our content and PR teams, this intern will write and edit articles for the Organic Valley blog, dig up story ideas from around the cooperative, and write and post on Linked In and Reddit. They will also write copy for Organic Valley® branded products, including product pages and digital shelf retail copy, which is where the farm story meets the shelf and where a writer learns to make every word count.
Along the way, they will follow what other brands, reporters and creators are publishing about food and farming, and tag and file our work so it can be found again. The summer builds toward one capstone: a published story about an Organic Valley farmer, reported and written by the intern for a defined audience. This is an opportunity to build their portfolio while learning about cooperatives, organic food and the farmers who make a difference.
