About the Role

The Guest Experience Host is responsible for the guest’s customer service experience while at our Outdoorsy Bayfield park. As the first friendly face the guests will see on the property, it is the Guest Experience Host’s goal to deliver an extraordinary check‑in, check‑out, and scheduling experience. This role asks for an upbeat and empathetic person that is excited to work with people and has a love for the outdoors.

The goal of this role is to ensure brand standards of excellence, answer inquiries and make the guest’s administrative journey as seamless as possible.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
  • Primary Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for guests and vendors, providing professional and welcoming representation of the brand.
  • Multichannel Support: Manage high‑volume incoming inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, resolving concerns regarding reservations, billing statements, and general guest needs.
  • Proactive Outreach: Conduct occasional outbound communication to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve pending issues.
  • Service Coordination: Facilitate maintenance and housekeeping workflows by creating and delegating service tickets to ensure timely property upkeep.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and verify unit availability to coordinate effectively with external scheduling vendors.
  • Financial Transactions: Execute accurate cash handling and payment processing using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Foster strong internal partnerships and maintain open communication channels with support teams to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Response Excellence: Maintain high responsiveness and reliability across all communication channels (email, phone, video, and text).
  • Guest Satisfaction: Drive positive guest outcomes by utilizing empathy and engagement to resolve complex issues.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Relationship Management: Successfully foster and maintain proactive communication with internal support teams to streamline operations.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in navigating various hardware platforms, including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to remain calm and effective in an agile, fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to pivot between tasks quickly without sacrificing attention to detail

Physical Requirements & Availability

  • Flexible Scheduling: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Physical Stamina: Capable of remaining on your feet for up to 8 hours per day and lifting between 15–25 lbs.
