As an Interior Designer II at Kohler, you will shape innovative interiors and branded environments for kitchen, bath, and hospitality spaces within a global manufacturing leader. You'll develop concepts, plans, and detailed documentation, creating 3D renderings and specifications that balance aesthetics, function, and manufacturability. Partner closely with product, engineering, and manufacturing teams to translate design vision into scalable solutions. You'll apply sustainability and universal design principles, leverage advanced design tools, and grow your craft in a culture grounded in innovation, inclusion, and gracious living.
Responsibilities
- Develop interior concepts for kitchen, bath, and hospitality spaces aligned with Kohler brand standards
- Create detailed drawings, material specifications, and 3
- D renderings using design software
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility
- Support prototype development, mockups, and design reviews for new products and environments
- Apply sustainability and universal design principles to layouts, finishes, and fixtures
- Conduct trend and user research to inform color, material, and spatial design decisions
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators on materials, finishes, and custom elements
- Prepare presentations and design packages for stakeholders and leadership reviews
- Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes
