A fantastic locum tenens opportunity is now available for a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician in a well-established inpatient rehab unit. This position is located in Wisconsin, near the Augusta area, and is ideal for a highly skilled physician seeking an ongoing assignment with no on-call requirements.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Patient Volume: 7-8 patients per shift Practice Setting:
Inpatient

Work Schedule:

Primarily inpatient work with the option for some afternoon clinic hours (1-5 days per week) Clinic Volume: 6-7 patients per half-day Support Staff:
Full rehab unit team including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, rehab nurses, social workers, and neuropsychologists

Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care for patients requiring physical medicine and rehabilitation services Supervise and collaborate with the rehab unit???s experienced multidisciplinary team Monitor patients' progress and participate in discharge planning No call requirements during the assignment period Opportunity to provide outpatient services in a clinic setting in the afternoons

Qualifications:

Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required Fellowship training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation preferred Active ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required Strong background in treating stroke, orthopedic trauma, brain injury, and non-traumatic spine cases Ability to supervise advanced practice providers (APPs) and collaborate with a diverse team of specialists Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the healthcare team Additional Details:
