Responsibilities, Duties and Location of the Hematopathologist Position:The successful candidate will share the full scope of hematopathology responsibilities with the other experienced hematopathologists. Flow cytometric data analysis experience is essential, as well as, effectively communicating with clinicians and staff.
The selected candidate's main responsibility is signing out Hematopathology cases with a minor component of general surgical pathology sign out and participating in intraoperative frozen sections rotation.
Presenting at tumor boards and occasionally teaching staff or residents.
Serving as CLIA director for clinical laboratories.
Participating in on-call rotation shared among surgical pathologists.
