What You'll Do
- Provide emergency medical care at regional hospitals in the Northwoods
- Manage a broad range of emergency cases, including admissions (~20%)
- Collaborate with APCs for double staffing as needed
- Cover shifts primarily at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital and nearby critical access hospitals
- Support community health with immediate response and patient-centered care
- Enjoy flexible scheduling to balance work and outdoor recreation
What You Need
Required:- Wisconsin medical license or eligibility
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active state medical registration
- Ability to provide a clean NPDB/file
- Prior emergency medicine experience
- Compliant with all applicable licensure and certification requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to the rural hospital setting
