Emergency Medicine Physician, Medical Doctor
Description
In this role, you will evaluate, manage, stabilize, and triage patients in accordance with medical protocols, Wisconsin Statutes, and Federal Regulations. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care, including life-saving interventions, diagnostic evaluations, and coordination with other medical professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Perform life-saving procedures in a Level III Emergency Department
- Triage and stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement care plans
- Admit patients and write orders
- Collaborate with specialists and document all care provided
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO)
- Licensure: Valid Wisconsin medical license
- Certification:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- DEA Certification
- Experience: Proven clinical skills as a career emergency medicine physician
- Other Requirements:
- Meets ACEP continuing education standards
- Credentialed for hospital and third-party payer approval
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

- 0.66 FTE
- On-site presence required
