Pay: $17.00/hour
Description: Join this fun, creative team! Goals of the Menominee Youth Services are to provide health and life skills programming to youth.
The intern will assist the Menominee Youth Services Team in the planning, and implementation of youth-focused activities and programs. Planned programming may include Teen Health Clinics, Health Education Awareness, Career Education Day, Life Skills, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities. The Menominee Cultural Teaching:
Circle of Life will be incorporated in the programming.
Depending on the intern’s readiness and demonstrated capabilities, they may have the opportunity to lead certain activities. For more complex tasks—such as the facilitation of topics:
Substance Abuse Education and Sexual Education—the intern will primarily observe and shadow experienced staff. The interns' involvement in these areas will depend on their comfort level and the capabilities assessed by the team.
- Must be a registered college student, seeking 6 or more credits
- Must be a degree seeking student at College of Menominee Nation (certain documentation may be required to confirm enrollment status)
- Must have completed one semester of studies
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or better (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Previous work with youth and event planning
