Enhance and teach the Performing Arts, Drama or Dance program according to the Victorian Curriculum.

• Organise systematic assessment of students’ skill development.
• Meet with the designated Learning and Teaching Leader regularly to discuss the program being delivered.
• Work alongside the Learning and Teaching Team to make connections between Performing Arts, Drama or Dance and other classroom curriculum.
• Promote Performing Arts, Drama or Dance in the school and to the wider community.
• Assess, analyse, document, monitor, and track student progress.
• Develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater to individual learning needs.
• Use the knowledge of students, content, and pedagogy to establish clear, achievable, documented, and targeted learning goals.
• Use contemporary learning tools to engage students and staff in their learning.
• Regularly reflect on and critically evaluate professional knowledge and the effectiveness of teaching, and commit to the school’s feedback culture and practices.

We are seeking a passionate 0.67 FTE teacher of Performing Arts, Drama or Dance (P-6) with a strong work ethic to join our team at St George Preca School. The role is a contract position covering three days per week (Monday–Wednesday) and commences at the start of Term 3.

• High-level Performing Arts, Drama or Dance and organisational skills.
• Understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic Church.
• VIT registration.
• Accreditation to teach Religion Education (RE) or commitment to achieving it.
• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
• Commitment to St George Preca School's Child Safe policies and the Code of Conduct.
