Special Education Teacher in Hayward, WI

• Valid state licensure as a Special Education Teacher (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Experience or training in early childhood/elementary education and special education practices
• Familiarity with cross-categorical programming, individualized education plans (IEPs), and differentiation strategies
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Passion for fostering student growth, independence, and self-regulation

• Deliver instruction adapted to individual learning needs in academic and mild behavioral skill areas
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Create a welcoming, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with other educators, families, and specialists to ensure student success
• Monitor student progress, adjust strategies, and maintain detailed records
