Role Description/Criteria
St George Preca School is seeking a qualified educator for a classroom teaching position. This ongoing contract is for the commencement of the 2027 school year. Experienced educators as well as graduate teachers are encouraged to apply. Interviews will occur as applications come in and may occur prior to closure of applications. The current enrolment is approximately 742 students from Prep to Grade 6. We are seeking an educator committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.

• demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents, and students with the ability to form positive relationship
• have the ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning
• contribute as a member of a Professional Learning Team, planning and teaching in a collaborative environment focused on continual improvement
• teach effectively to the diverse range of learning needs enriching the learning for all students
• use data to inform teaching
• use high-quality teaching practices in Literacy, Numeracy, Religious Education, Wellbeing or Inquiry learning
• demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning and teaching
• be committed to personal and professional growth
• have registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T.
• preferably have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School
