Trillium Construction is hiring for Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Managers to work on large-scale commercial, industrial, and solar electrical projects throughout the Midwest!
This position is direct-hire, and offering an hourly rate between $45 - $60/hr, plus benefits! Per Diem is offered for those who qualify!
Duties:
- Provide support to Project Manager in managing projects, assisting with scheduling job take-off meetings, writing purchase orders and proposals, sending quotes for bidding, organizing bid dates, obtaining bid bonds, entering jobs into accounting system, prepping invoices to be sent for billing, process contracts/claims/change orders, close jobs upon completion, request vendor quotes, process COI requests as needed, pull permits for worksites as well as request inspections, track HV testing, review aging reports, complete collection calls for customers past due.
- Participate in project kickoff meetings as well as scheduled meetings as needed throughout the project.
- Assemble Quality Assurance/Quality Control Documentation, submittal packs per specifications, etc.
- Create packages and labels for wire terminations.
- Coordinate and manage schedules for accommodations from GC to align with project schedules.
- Monitor project progress by following contractual requirements and provide timely updates to Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management or 2-3 years experience (i.e., commercial/industrial/plan spec/design build/solar).
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards, procedures, National Electrical Code, etc.
- Working knowledge of or ability to learn Accubid and Procore software programs. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
