Responsibilities

- Create, update, and revise sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using Small World GIS software or manual drafting methods to meet customer requirements.

- Prepare 2D and 3D models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

- Read and interpret detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.

- Collaborate with project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff to complete assignments under supervisor guidance.

- Design and manage electric distribution projects for new and existing customers, including transformer sizing, underground cable routing, and pole placement.

- Conduct field assessments and customer interactions as part of project management responsibilities.

- Prepare documentation to support design drawings, including bills of material and schedules.

- Assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.

- Check SAP for new customer contacts, participate in weekly scheduling meetings, and conduct team touchpoints.

- Perform a mix of field visits to residential, commercial, and construction sites, adhering to standard safety protocols.

Requirements

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Organizational and project management abilities.

- Basic electrical knowledge or background.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

- GIS or AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required.

- People skills, a desire to learn, adaptability, and independence.

- No specific degree required; open to various backgrounds including construction, call center, police, etc.

- Experience in electrical or utility fields is a plus.

- No certifications required.
