Process Optimization:
- Analyze existing paper converting processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Conduct regular quality audits and provide guidance on quality-related issues.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of machinery.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for implementation.
- Collect and analyze data related to production processes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Ensure that all processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Investigate and address safety incidents and concerns.
- Develop training programs for production personnel to ensure proper execution of processes.
- Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and equipment specifications.
- Lead process improvement projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Support Lean initiatives specific to the industry, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing machine efficiency.
- Teach and apply Lean tools and methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce production costs.
- Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting manufacturing process issues, utilizing root cause analysis and hands‑on problem‑solving approaches.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement effective solutions to ensure continuous and smooth operations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., chemical, mechanical, industrial) or a related field.
- 5 - 10 years experience in process engineering or a related role within the paper converting industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with demonstrated experience in troubleshooting manufacturing process issues.
- Knowledge of process optimization techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work.
- Effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and process modeling software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
