Project Manager, Operations Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager for County Materials in Roberts, Wisconsin.

The Project Manager oversees high-priority and design-build precast concrete projects from bid through delivery. This role handles estimating, take-offs, scheduling, material coordination, and communication with Sales, customers, and production teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. The position also supports estimating for key projects and helps develop Project Coordinators.

• Identify and pursue precast concrete project opportunities
• Review plans/specifications and prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and take-offs
• Create detailed submittal drawings
• Coordinate with Sales and customers on high-profile projects
• Manage design changes, technical questions, and change orders
• Develop and maintain daily/weekly production schedules
• Support scheduling and production teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Conduct job-site visits for project status and coordination
• Oversee estimating support for high-priority projects
• Assist the Sales Operations Manager and help train Project Coordinators

• On-site office-based role with occasional remote flexibility
• Visits to production areas and construction jobsites
• Exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and outdoor weather
• PPE required during plant and field visits (safety glasses, hard hat, vest, steel-toe boots)

• Frequent sitting and computer use
• Occasional walking through production areas
• Ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
• Jobsite visits with outdoor exposure and uneven terrain

• Associate degree or equivalent
• 4-5 years of precast industry experience
• Strong project management and estimating skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar software
• Skilled in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
