As a Party Chief, you will lead daily field operations, oversee data collection, and ensure survey work is performed accurately, efficiently, and safely. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and office staff to support projects including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, and municipal infrastructure work.

This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of surveying experience who is confident in the field, capable of working independently, and ready to take responsibility for crew performance, data quality, and project execution.

• Lead and manage survey crews in the field on a variety of projects including boundary, topographic, construction stakeout, and right-of-way surveys
• Plan daily field activities, coordinate logistics, and ensure efficient execution of assigned work
• Perform property and right-of-way reconnaissance and verify existing conditions
• Operate and maintain survey equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS, and data collectors

• 3+ years of land surveying experience, with demonstrated field leadership
• Strong working knowledge of survey field procedures, equipment, and data collection methods
• Experience with boundary, topographic, construction, and/or municipal surveying projects
• Ability to work independently, manage field crews, and make sound decisions in the field
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with field teams, office staff, and clients
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Survey Technician (CST) or NICET Surveying Technician Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• OSHA HAZWOPER and Construction Site Safety Certifications
• Certified Survey Technician Level 2 or 3 (Field or Office option)
• Familiarity with municipal and infrastructure projects
