Project Manager – Heavy Civil Infrastructure

Location:

Hilbert, WI. Reporting to Regional Manager – NE Wisconsin Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead interdisciplinary teams and manage construction of heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Act as company representative with client, stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare, monitor, and control project budget, cost, and projections to ensure profitability.
• Procure materials, requisition equipment and labor resources.
• Negotiate changes to scope of work, manage change order process.
• Market and secure additional work with clients.
• Deliver Federal and State funded infrastructure projects in accordance with licensing and regulations.
• Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably heavy highway or structural projects.
• Experience in heavy civil infrastructure: cost reporting, engineering submittals, work plans, RFIs, CPM scheduling, T&M billing, and change orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HCSS, AASHTOWare, Primavera/P6 (preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
• Development and incorporation of project execution plans, health and safety plans, Q&A, etc.
• Hands‑on project management and client interface skills.
