The Position

Today, we offer you an opportunity for a two-year internship, within the Processes / Process Safety sector of our plant in Laneuveville devant Nancy (15 minutes from Nancy).

You will contribute to practical subjects related to the control of industrial risks, process safety, and the continuous improvement of our practices.

Your main tasks:

  • Participate in the management, organization, and optimization of Important Safety Equipment, including safety devices such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, or other equipment that control risks related to processes.

  • Contribute to the implementation of an organization dedicated to monitoring the shunts of safety equipment.

  • Participate in the analysis of accidents and incidents related to process safety.

  • Take part in the organization and animation of process risk analyses, particularly HAZOP, on existing installations or in the context of projects.

  • Contribute to the improvement of the process safety management system.

  • Participate in the development of the process safety culture, in liaison with the process safety engineer and field teams.

Profile Sought
  • You are currently preparing a Master's degree in SPIEQ, Industrial Process Safety, Environment, and Quality, or an equivalent qualification.

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, industrial safety, or a related field.

  • You have a foundation in chemical engineering / process engineering and wish to put it into practice in a real industrial environment.

  • You have an interest in technology, industrial installations, and field equipment: valves, motors, sensors, safety devices, networks, chemical processes, etc.

  • You are curious, rigorous, and organized, with a desire to understand the functioning of a chemical industry and a heavy industry plant.

  • You are comfortable in exchanges with different stakeholders and enjoy seeking information from field teams, technical services, and operators.

  • You are looking for an environment where you could demonstrate autonomy, propose ideas, and critically question existing practices.
