We are seeking a Project Engineer to serve as a key technical resource supporting the planning, execution, and successful completion of packaging equipment projects. This role involves working cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, and customer-facing teams to ensure equipment meets design specifications, budget, and schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, project management, and technical problem-solving.

• Evaluate high-complexity projects, ensuring design intent and system functionality.
• Assist with engineering drawings, part numbers, and purchasing-related tasks.
• Maintain and apply URS (User Requirement Specification) documentation to systems and processes.
• Work with vendors, proposal coordinators, and purchasing to obtain quotations.
• Oversee packaging equipment fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Ensure all engineering and manufacturing standards are met.
• Provide customer support and technical consultation on plant layout and system functionality.
• Travel up to 10% for project and client site support.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering, applications engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with Solid Works, AutoCAD, PDM, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of packaging automation, mechanical systems, and OEM equipment.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.

• 5+ years of engineering experience in project or applications engineering.
• Experience in packaging machinery or automation industry.
• Strong familiarity with project management processes (scope, schedule, budget).
• Client-facing experience and ability to engage with customers on technical solutions.
