Electronics Technology Specialist – Aerospace & Defense Systems

An innovative aerospace and defense electronics manufacturer in the Brownsville, WI area is seeking an Electronics Technology Specialist to join their dynamic technical team. This company, known for producing high-quality electronic systems for military and aviation applications, offers a fast-paced and rewarding work environment.

Skill Set:
Strong hands-on experience with electronics assembly; an Electronics Technology Associate's Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in the industry

Assembly Expertise:
Proficiency in PCB assembly and soldering; familiarity with IPC standards is a must

Technical Know-How:
Ability to interpret and troubleshoot from electrical schematics, wire diagrams, and technical drawings

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to $70,000 (based on experience) + 401(k) and benefits

Travel:
Occasional domestic travel, up to 20 days per year, may be required for testing and installations

Location:

Brownsville, WI area (Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the facility)

Eligibility:
Must have authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available

Job Responsibilities
  • Accurate Assembly:
    Precise soldering and assembly of PCBs following strict quality standards
  • Troubleshooting:
    Identifying and resolving hardware issues in electrical assemblies
  • Collaboration:

    Working closely with hardware designers on prototype builds and testing
  • Coordination:
    Assisting with BOM development and component sourcing
  • Documentation:
    Creating technical specifications and drawings
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensuring compliance with aerospace standards
