This role offers an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a small, collaborative engineering team focused on revamping and continuously improving manufacturing processes at two plant locations. You will play a key role in optimizing production, driving process and continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting lean manufacturing practices to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput.

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Support the revamp of manufacturing processes at plant locations, ensuring improvements align with production, quality, and safety goals.
• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing process standards, work instructions, and best practices.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and process engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with a small engineering team and production staff to troubleshoot issues and implement practical solutions.
• Monitor process performance, collect and interpret data, and recommend changes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Participate in or lead projects focused on process engineering, including layout changes, workflow optimization, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure that process changes are properly documented, communicated, and sustained across the manufacturing operation.

• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong experience in process engineering and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience applying lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing processes, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a small engineering team and cross-functional production environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Experience supporting or leading process revamp initiatives in a plant environment.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and structured problem-solving approaches.
• Comfort working across different plant locations and adapting to varying process needs.

You will work as part of a small engineering team within a plant-based manufacturing environment, supporting two locations. The role centers on hands-on engagement with production processes, close collaboration with operations staff, and active involvement in revamping and improving manufacturing workflows. The environment emphasizes continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and teamwork, providing opportunities to influence how the plants operate and to see the direct impact of your engineering contributions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Schofield, WI.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Large employer in the Wausau area CTI is a huge benefit with onsite doctor and PT.

This is a fully onsite position in Schofield, WI.
