We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, skilled Distribution Center Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in optimizing processes in our distribution centers. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and industry knowledge to support and implement innovative solutions that improve warehouse performance and support our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and improve warehouse processes, workflows, and layout for maximum efficiency.
Partner with IT and cross-functional warehouse teams to integrate WMS with existing systems and processes.
Participate in the development and maintenance of facility labor standards, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to support workforce optimization.
Collaborate with Distribution Leaders to identify process inefficiencies and support the execution of continuous improvement projects aimed at cost reduction and operational excellence.
Gather, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to distribution center operations, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making and process improvements.
Assist in the design and implementation of automation systems within distribution centers, contributing to efforts that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Identify opportunities to reduce production costs through process improvements, material savings, and efficient resource utilization. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.
Utilize statistical and analytical tools to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to production processes. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
