Data Engineering Manager

Kohler is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management within our manufacturing operations. You will guide a multidisciplinary team to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and productivity while driving continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives. In partnership with operations and quality, you'll manage capital projects, optimize preventive and predictive maintenance, and leverage data to improve OEE and reduce downtime.

This role blends hands-on plant leadership with strategic asset planning, people development, and cross-functional collaboration in a culture rooted in craftsmanship, innovation, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance team supporting manufacturing operations.
• Own asset management strategy, including lifecycle planning, reliability, and capital improvements.
• Drive safety, quality, and productivity through lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage maintenance programs, including preventive and predictive maintenance and CMMS accuracy.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain to support new products and process changes.
• Plan and manage engineering and maintenance budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Use data and KPIs to improve equipment uptime, OEE, and cost efficiency.
• Champion sustainability and energy efficiency in equipment and facility projects.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, learning, and craftsmanship aligned with Kohler's values.
