Senior Engineer

Kohler is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive product and process innovation in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead design improvements for kitchen, bath, and power products, apply advanced engineering tools (CAD, FEA, DFMA), and optimize plant processes for quality, cost, and throughput. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable materials and methods, support new product introductions, and resolve complex production issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and process improvements for manufactured products to enhance quality, cost, and performance.
• Apply CAD, FEA, and DFMA principles to develop and validate robust engineering solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma tools in plant operations.
• Support new product introductions from concept through production ramp-up.
• Investigate and resolve complex production and field performance issues using structured root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, quality, supply chain, and operations.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, and standards.
• Identify and implement sustainable materials and manufacturing methods.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to plant teams.
• Manage engineering projects, schedules, and deliverables to meet business objectives.
