Call Center Team Member

Serve as the first point of contact for customers, delivering excellent customer service. Answer inbound phone calls, identify, and resolve caller needs, and provide information/assist with placing orders. Maintain accurate and useful database records. Reports to Call Center Supervisor.

Hours:

8 am to 5 pm.

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Process orders either by phone, through uploads and in writing.
• Provide basic information about the company and its products to customers and potential customers.
• Solicits sale of new or additional services.
• Recommends corrective services to address customer complaints.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Language Skills- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Computer Skills- to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software;
  Internet software;
  Order processing systems;
  Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Typing Skills - will need to pass a short typing test during interview.
• Mathematical Skills- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.…
