Description

Responsible for handling construction draws associated with residential and complex commercial construction disbursements by reviewing sufficiency of supporting documentation and determine whether the construction account remains in balance.

Your role is to be responsible and accountable for any risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures during the draw process.

Candidate will also be expected to assist the company's closing coordinator with real estate closings on an as needed basis; as well as assisting in balancing final closing numbers and preparing loan closing packages

This position is not a remote work position.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

• Must be fluent with standard terminology commonly used in the construction industry.

• Setting up, processing and reconciling the draw cycle that includes all necessary documents required by the lender.

• Ability to effectively manage a large pipeline while maintaining time frame requirements along with continuous communication and updating with contractor, customer, and lenders, while providing quality customer service to all.

• Work with homeowners, lender, contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers to get final draw numbers approved and out for review to all parties in order to obtain payment.

• Prepare tax reports as needed for 1099's

• Performing onsite inspections

• Maintain escrow accounts by depositing funds and maintaining legal papers, balancing and disbursing funds.

• Recommended to become a notary within 1 year.

• Proficient in MS Office application which include Outlook, word and Excel

• Order wire transfers, ACH's and provide wiring instructions

• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment in a courteous and professional manner; explaining documents, answering questions and resolving concerns as necessary.
