- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- A commitment to ongoing learning, including staying current on financial news, laws, and the impacts to their clients
- Desire to be in a client facing role open to networking and sales
- Must complete a clear background check
This career is primarily commission based but includes stipends and earning opportunities during training to help you get started. To give you an idea, our Financial Representatives are making on average about $98,000 in their first year (more tenured Advisors have higher averages), and there is potential for much more.
What’s the catch? The first years can be tough as you’re learning the business. But the trade-off is that you get to define what success looks like.
