The BSA Analyst at One Community Bank is a vital member of our compliance team, working closely with the BSA/AML/OFAC Sanctions Officer to uphold the Bank’s adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations. This dynamic role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including risk identification and control assessment, internal monitoring reviews, and training initiatives.
You will leverage Verafin for day‑to‑day operations, managing alerts, conducting research, and filing necessary government documents. Additionally, you will assist in the development of policies and procedures, while actively participating in BSA activities including suspicious activity investigations and audit preparations.
As a trusted resource, you will support your colleagues in understanding and navigating BSA/AML processes, ensuring that everyone at One Community Bank is equipped to meet compliance requirements effectively.
Responsibilities- Identify and assess risk and controls in the BSA/AML compliance program.
- Conduct internal monitoring reviews to detect compliance gaps.
- Manage daily alerts in Verafin and perform research on questionable activity.
- File and maintain required government documents.
- Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures.
- Support suspicious activity investigations and audit preparations.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on BSA/AML processes.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a financial institution’s BSA/AML compliance function.
- Knowledge of BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, CDD/EDD, SAR/CTR regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex information and present findings succinctly.
