A Financial Staff Accountant is responsible for interpreting and applying financial and accounting principles. Success in this role requires the ability to deliver timely and accurate information to support decision‑making, along with maintaining a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive data.

- Perform daily treasury tasks
- Create and maintain excel spreadsheets related to financial activity and reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts statements
- Perform day to day general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Provide year end schedules and support
- Perform month end financial reporting and analysis
- Maintain department procedures and process documentation
- Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special project work at direction of management
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate’s Degree with preference to Finance or Accounting, 1‑2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
- Proficient software experience (Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems)
- Experience in consolidation and reporting (desired)
- Possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team (desired)
