Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, relationship-oriented Wealth Advisor Associate to join a growing wealth management team.

The Wealth Advisor Associate will support senior advisors in delivering comprehensive, personalized financial guidance while gradually assuming greater responsibility for financial planning, client relationships, and business development
.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical ability with genuine curiosity about people and a desire to develop into a trusted Wealth Advisor.

Key Responsibilities Client & Advisor Support
  • Partner with senior Wealth Advisors to prepare for and participate in client meetings.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, financial planning materials, presentations, and follow-up communications.
  • Accurately document client needs, decisions, and action items.
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external professionals to provide a seamless client experience.
  • Respond to client questions and service needs with professionalism, care, and urgency.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Assist in developing and updating comprehensive financial plans.
  • Analyze client needs across:
    • Cash flow
    • Investments
    • Retirement planning
    • Insurance and risk management
    • Education funding
    • Tax considerations
    • Estate and legacy planning
  • Conduct research and prepare financial scenarios and recommendations for advisor review.
  • Monitor client progress toward financial goals and identify opportunities to update strategies as circumstances change.
  • Support the implementation of approved financial and investment recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate client information within financial planning and relationship-management systems.
Client Relationship Development
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and become a dependable member of their advisory team.
  • Participate in client review meetings and gradually assume responsibility for portions of client conversations.
  • Explain financial concepts, recommendations, and next steps in clear and approachable language.
  • Support client education, appreciation, and community-engagement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and introduce additional wealth-management capabilities when appropriate.
Professional Development
  • Develop the technical knowledge, communication skills, and judgment necessary to progress into a Wealth Advisor position.
  • Stay current on financial planning strategies, investment concepts, industry developments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete required licensing and professional-development activities.
  • Contribute ideas that improve the client experience, team effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, compliance, and fiduciary care.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services, banking, investment operations, client service, accounting, or a related professional environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Client-first mindset and genuine interest in helping individuals and families achieve financial goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while independently managing responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting Financial Advisors or working within wealth management
    .
  • Familiarity with financial planning, portfolio management, CRM, or custodial platforms.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam completed.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66
