Personal Banker

Cleveland State Bank is looking for an experience Personal Banker to join our team. As a small, community bank, relationships are the heart of what we do. We are seeking someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding service, building long-term client relationships, and helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate their banking needs with confidence.

• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Assist clients with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, and other banking transactions.
• Deliver exceptional client service by responding to inquiries and resolving concerns.
• Understand clients' financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Issue cashier's checks, money orders, and other financial instruments
• Follow banking regulations, security procedures, and company polices.
• Detect and help prevent fraud through adherence to established protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless client experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of one year of banking or financial industry experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent client service mindset with a professional and friendly approach
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory rquirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new banking systems and technology
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across in-person, phone, and digital channels
