Laundry Aide

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team in Edgerton, WI. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for ensuring the efficient cleaning, sorting, and distribution of linens, clothing, and other laundry items to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

• Collect, sort, and wash laundry items including linens, uniforms, and personal clothing.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fold, iron, and organize clean laundry for distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry laundry loads.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

This position involves standing for extended periods and handling wet or heavy laundry items. The Laundry Aide will work in a laundry facility environment and must adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
