Frederick County, Fire & Rescue are seeking a dedicated Paramedic(Part-Time) to join our team of emergency service professionals. As a vital member of our department, you'll provide life-saving care and support to the citizens of Frederick County during their most critical moments.

As a Paramedic, you will:
- Respond to emergency medical calls to deliver life-saving care
- Provide Advanced and Basic Life Support services under high-stress conditions
- Drive and operate emergency medical response vehicles
- Clean, inspect, and maintain assigned apparatus, equipment, and fire stations
- Complete accurate reports and documentation per department SOPs
- Participate in required training and skill refreshers
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, teammates, and the public
- Maintain readiness and professionalism throughout each shift
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years
- Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Certifications - All part-time providers must possess the following:
- NIMS ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800
- Healthcare Provider CPR
- Virginia Department of Fire Program EVOC Class I and II
- AHA ACLS and PALS
