Retail Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering accurate, timely prescription services. This role combines hands‑on pharmacy support with administrative and customer service responsibilities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

• Approximately 80 hours per biweekly pay period
• Primarily 5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Every 6th Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• No evening shifts beyond scheduled hours
• Rotation to other retail pharmacies as needed

• This position will work two to three days in the La Farge pharmacy and then rotate days in the Viroqua and Soldiers Grove Pharmacies as needed.
• You will know your location in advance and be able to fill in as needed at locations.

• Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
• Process prescription data entry and maintain accurate patient records
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Stock inventory and maintain an organized pharmacy workspace
• Support daily pharmacy operations and general clerical duties

• Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Willing to become registered with the State of Wisconsin as a Pharmacy Technician
• Starting pay: $17.56/hour (adjusted based on experience)
