Position Summary
A Staff Pharmacist at Walmart is the front line of patient communications, listening and building relationships with patients who seek quality, heartfelt care. This role empowers pharmacists to share their clinical knowledge, lead the pharmacy staff, and serve as a community leader while working in a fast‑paced environment equipped with technology to support success.
Responsibilities- Advocate patient‑centered care and build relationships with patients from a variety of backgrounds.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all patient‑care activities, including counseling patients, processing prescriptions, and administering immunizations.
- Lead community outreach and events such as Wellness Days, while modeling and guiding staff on customer‑service approaches.
- Understand the business side of pharmacy—inventory control, cost savings, and compliance—and support staff in meeting business goals.
- Use tools, data, and conversations to understand community health concerns and stay updated on emergent and urgent health issues.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and maintain required documentation for controlled medications.
- Support the implementation of business solutions, monitor progress, and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (or equivalent FPGE, NABP).
- Active pharmacy license by the date of job entry.
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.

Salary Range$98,000.00 - $ for a 40‑hour/week schedule (prorated for part‑time). Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
