Advocate Health Care - 525 Kenosha Street - Responsibilities:
Create the initial electronic health record for patients to form the foundation of the medical record;
Check in and register patients and collect demographic, guarantor, and insurance information and co-pays;
Explain insurance basics and discuss financial obligations with patients and refer to Financial Advocates when needed;
Obtain patient or guarantor signatures and schedule appointments including virtual and procedural;
Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with transportation, interpreter services, and other needs
