Role Description This part-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role is based in Hales Corners, WI. The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide professional therapeutic and body massage services to clients, tailoring sessions to individual needs and wellness goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, assessing areas of tension or discomfort, and delivering appropriate massage techniques in a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment.
The role also involves educating clients on stress management, self-care practices, and the benefits of ongoing massage therapy, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to company and regulatory standards. The therapist will collaborate with other health and fitness professionals to support a cohesive, client-centered wellness experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques.
- Experience or training in Shiatsu and related massage modalities.
- Ability to support clients with Stress Management strategies and wellness education.
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
- Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in Wisconsin and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage, with commitment to safety and ethical practice.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized treatment space and follow infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary wellness team.
- Prior experience in a fitness, wellness, healthcare, or spa setting preferred.
