Must be able to handle a fast-paced, busy environment. 1 year of experience outside of school is required. Cerner experience is preferred.
Description:
The position requires treating an average of 10-12 patients per day over an 8-hour shift. Common diagnoses include orthopedic post-surgical cases, general pain, neurological conditions, imbalance, and weakness. The role involves working in acute inpatient, swingbed rehab, and outpatient therapy settings. Typically, 2-3 hours of inpatient and swingbed therapy coverage is required per day, followed by outpatient responsibilities. The environment is fast-paced, and clinicians are expected to adapt quickly to changing needs.
The department is equipped with rehab aides who assist with scheduling, managing authorizations, cleaning, stocking, and record requests. There are no weekend or holiday requirements for this position. Clinicians can wear scrubs or business casual attire, with closed-toed shoes expected. All clinicians must clock in and clock out during their shifts.
