UW Specialty Clinic Certified Medical Assistant​/LPN

Richland Hospital & Clinics has a full-time, benefit-eligible position available for a dedicated
Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in our UW Specialty
Outreach Clinic.

The Medical Assistant/LPN will assist physicians with examinations, patient care, ECGs,
coordination of lab work and testing, and pre-visit planning. In this role, you will also provide
general information to the public, answer incoming phone calls, record messages, and assist
in scheduling appointments. This full-time position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30
pm. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a
team environment. Occasional travel to other Outreach regional sites may be required.

Education and Experience:

A Medical Assistant Certification or Licensed Practical Nurse
credential from an approved program is required. CPR Certification is also mandatory. A
successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in
writing, in a professional manner. Additionally, an interest in acquiring new skills and
knowledge necessary for the essential functions of the position, as well as the ability to work
collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, is essential.
