What you'll do

• Prepare and execute recreation programs/activities
• Document attendance to recreation programs
• 1:1 visits with residents
• Assist with admission process
• Assist with MDS compliance
• Develop care plans

Schedule options

• Full Time - 75 hours per pay period. Must be available to work every other Saturday, a occasional evenings.

Qualifications:

• Studying Recreation Therapy or experience working in the Long Term Care Setting (preferred but not required)

Working conditions:

• Must be able to walk independently without devices.
• Tolerate working indoors and outdoors.
• Repetitive exposure to standing, walking, sitting, and bending.
• Moderate amount/level of physical activity during shift.
• Potential exposure to situations of resident behavior outbursts.
• Hours scheduled may vary according to facility need, including evening and weekend shifts.
• Repetitive exposure to handwashing.
• Pushing and pulling up to 40 pounds of weight.
