Physical Therapist; PT

Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus

Physical Therapist in the Therapy & Wellness Center Department as well as some work in our schools and home care areas

Full-time (1.0 FTE) day shift position, Monday through Friday daytime hours, some weekend coverage

• The Physical Therapist will design, organize, conduct and/or supervise the performance of subordinate personnel in medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs and education
• The physical therapist evaluates, records and reports patient problems and progress for effective communication with other members of the rehabilitation team
• Assists in the development of new services/programs as needed and assesses needs for such
• Work areas will include primarily outpatient services but could include some work in other clinical areas such as inpatient, skilled nursing, home health and work in the schools

• Candidates must be a graduate of an APTA/AMA accredited curriculum program
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the State of Wisconsin or board eligible
• Ability to plan, direct, implement and evaluate Physical Therapy treatment services in each of the areas that they would be working
• Prefer candidates with some previous experiences but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Candidates should have a solid and well-rounded understanding of multiple areas of therapy care and have a full understanding of quality patient care
• Interest in professional growth as demonstrated by attendance at continuing education programs and participation in professional organizations
• Ability to direct, implement and report on effectiveness of therapy treatments
• Previous experience with the Microsoft Office Suite software programs is beneficial
• Prior experience using the EPIC medical record system is preferred but not required
