Recreation Therapy Assistant– Marinuka Manor Galesville, WI $17.75 - $20.41 hour

What You’ll DoPrepare and execute recreation programs/activities

Document attendance to recreation programs1:1 visits with residents

Assist with admission process

Assist with MDS compliance

Develop care plans

Schedule Options Full Time - 75 hours per pay period. Must be available to work every other Saturday, a occasional evenings.

Qualifications:

Studying Recreation Therapy or experience working in the Long Term Care Setting (preferred but not required)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to walk independently without devices.

Tolerate working indoors and outdoors.

Repetitive exposure to standing, walking, sitting, and bending.

Moderate amount/level of physical activity during shift.

Potential exposure to situations of resident behavior outbursts.

Hours scheduled may vary according to facility need, including evening and weekend shifts.

Repetitive exposure to handwashing.

Pushing and pulling up to 40 pounds of weight.
