Location: Humbird

Lutheran Social Services of WI & UP MI seeks Residential Support Staff to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to adults in a group home or supportive housing setting. In this role, you will assist with daily living skills, personal care, and medication reminders while supporting individualized service plans that promote independence, dignity, and safety. You'll build trusting relationships, engage residents in community integration and skill-building activities, and accurately document services.

Working within a faith-inspired, inclusive culture, you'll collaborate with clinical and case management teams, receive ongoing training, and make a direct impact on individuals and families across Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct daily support to residents in group home or supportive housing settings
  • Assist residents with personal care, daily living skills, and medication reminders per guidelines
  • Support individualized service plans and document services accurately and timely
  • Promote resident independence, dignity, and safety in a trauma-informed manner
  • Engage residents in community activities, skill-building, and social integration
  • Observe and report changes in residents' behavior, health, or needs to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
  • Collaborate with clinical, case management, and housing staff to coordinate care
  • Respond appropriately to crises and follow agency policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and quality improvement efforts
