Doctors of Physical Therapy is looking for a
Part to Full Time Patient Care Technician - Physical Therapy
. This is a great role for a student looking for health care experience. This position is for our MOSH Hales Corners location.
Under the close supervision of a Physical Therapist, Technicians are responsible for assisting the therapist with patient care or patient related needs. Light clerical duties required including but not limited to:
Scheduling, collecting co-pays, scanning and new patient registration, maintaining overall clinic cleanliness, and preparing treatment areas.
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy
- Team player
- Ability to work with all types of people
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize important tasks is necessary.
- Maintaining pleasant and professional relationships with patients
- Reliable
- Ability to comply with Doctors of Physical Therapy Standards of Operation
